Legal Assistant / Paralegal

CRESCO Legal Consultancy, based in the United Arab Emirates, is part of CRESCO Legal, an international legal firm with offices in the Middle East, Asia, Europe, Latin America and North America. We are looking for a Legal Assistant / Paralegal to work in our UAE office. The candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the law firm, including carrying out administrative services, providing support to the legal team and ensuring that the firm remains in compliance with the stated legal regulations. A candidate needs to show a strong work ethic, exceptional problem solving skills and to be comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic workplace.

We are looking for a motivated Legal assistant to ensure the smooth running of the office including an effective case management. You will be trained in the use of a sophisticated CRM and document management system as well as in the latest artificial intelligence supported legal software tools.

Responsibilities (among others):

– Manage legal documentation and correspondence in strict confidence
– Correspond with counsel, court and clients
– Draft documents and letters using the provided templates
– Complete administrative duties such as making copies, answering and directing phone calls and greeting clients
– Coordinate appointments, including all correspondence and logistics necessary
– Assist with billing and follow-up of accounts receivables
– Help in the integration of the ISO system and to keep the company ISO certified afterwards


Skills and Qualifications:

Reporting skills, research skills, legal administration skills, experience in litigation process, handling of client relationships, high attention to detail, strict confidentiality and good inter personal skills.

Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

CRESCO is looking for its office in Cebu, Philippines for a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) that likes to join the dynamic and international team. A candidate must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) where as fresh graduates are welcomed as well. Proficiency in English is a must, knowledge in additional languages like Chinese, Nihongo, Hangugeo, Spanish, French or German is an advantage. The new employee will join our team of professionals in Cebu, working closely with the team in Dubai and clients in the UAE and the Seychelles.

Sufficient knowledge in standard accounting software, Excel, Word, PowerPoint or equivalent software packages are expected. A candidate must show good organisation and time management skills and we expect high attention to detail. Applicants need to be ready and able to work in an international environment with different time zones and accept the required flexibility in working hours.

The new employee will be trained in Dubai for 3 months and will then work in Cebu. Additional travels to Dubai, working periods in the Seychelles and attendance on international conferences around the world will be required. That’s why the candidate must have a passport and be ready to travel.

Senior System Analyst and Application Developer

CRESCOtec, the software house part of the international CRESCO Group, is looking for a Senior System Analyst and Application Developer that likes to join the dynamic and international team. Our system analysts and developers develop the software or interfaces used within the CRESCO Group, implement third party software with clients and are also in charge to help improving and operating the IT infrastructure of the CRESCO Group. 

Required programming skills:
– PHP, Laravel and SPA framework
– ASP. net / C# (Web Forms/MVC4)
– MySQL, SQL Server 2008 or above (experience in writing queries, stored procedures, indices, triggers, views)
– Entity Framework 4/5, LINQ
– Web Services (Asmx/WCF), RESTful Services
– Javascript/jQuery/Ajax
– iOS and/or Android development
– Telerik RAD Controls/Kendo UI, Bootstrap UI, Knockout JS, Backbone JS
– HTML/HTML5 /CSS, OOP/OOAD
